Postponing haircutting visits
Maybe you also postpone your haircutting visit because you want longer hair, you are just happy with your length, so don't actually want to lose length. Still, it is important to remove broken and split ends from your hair. This is because if you don't do this, your hair will look barren and thin and your healthy hair will deteriorate much faster, as the split ends will split further and further upwards. This leaves you with the big dilemma:
- Get your broken and split ends cut and lose a few inches again.
- Grow it all out anyway, but then your split ends split even further, leaving you with a long, dry thin head of hair.
It used to be assumed that cutting off large sections at such times was the only option. Nowadays, it turns out that you can also remove the split ends, very thoroughly, layer by layer, from the hair: called Hairdusting. From now on, you don't have to make this difficult choice with Hairdusting no more to make.
What is it?
Hairdusting literally means 'dusting the hair'. This technique involves 'dusting' your broken and split ends instead of cutting them off. Actually, you have to think of it like those lint you take off clothes. Hairdusting does not replace a haircut; your hair will eventually have to be cut anyway. The big difference, though, is that thanks to this technique, you have to cut your lengths remarkably less often and your hair looks much healthier overall. It is a time-consuming job though, as it can easily take an hour to completely "dust off" your locks, but then you get something out of it! ?
How does it work?
Hair never grows all alike because each hair has its own growth phase. As a result, your hair has several layers and only the tips actually need to be removed from those hairs that have aged too much.
- First, we will wash the hair. No hair mask or the like is used in conclusion. By omitting a hair mask or the like, broken and split ends become more visible later on.
- The hair is then dried with a hairdryer and brush. By drying the hair in this way, the broken and split ends appear by themselves.
- According to it, the broken-off and split ends are removed layer by layer.
Who is Hairdusting interesting for?
For anyone who wants a long head of healthy hair, but especially for those with damaged or fine hair. By taking good care of your hair with a hair mask, and exposing your hair as little as possible to thermal heat from a straightener, for example, you can keep your hair beautiful for longer. Eventually, breakage and split ends will still occur and a haircut treatment is inevitable. With Hairdusting, you can keep your hair healthy for longer by removing broken, dead and split ends without losing length!
It is possible to schedule a Hairdusting session alone or to combine it with a haircut treatment. Book HERE your treatment for Hairdusting in.
